What we collect
Only what you type into an enquiry form. Three fields are required — your name, your company and your work email address — and the rest are optional: a phone number, your country, the size of your team, the kind of work you do, and anything you choose to tell us about your operation. We also record which kind of enquiry you chose — a trial, a demonstration or a general question — and the date and time, so that we can reply in context. Like any website, our server records the network address a request came from; we use that only to protect the enquiry form from abuse.
That is the whole list. We set no cookies on this site, we use no advertising or analytics service, and the paperwork cost calculator sends nothing anywhere — it runs entirely in your browser and we never see the figures you put into it.
Why we hold it, and on what basis
We use it to reply to your enquiry and to keep a record of the conversation. Our basis for that is our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry you have chosen to send us.
We do not sell it, and we do not share it for marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as there is a live commercial conversation, and for a reasonable period afterwards so that we can pick the conversation back up. Ask us to delete it sooner and we will.
What happens to your enquiry
It is recorded in our own customer records system or, if that system is unavailable, sent to us by email. It is not passed to any advertising or analytics service, and it is not used to build a profile of you.
The providers who host those systems and carry that email process it on our behalf under contract. We do not pass it to anyone else unless we are required to by law.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to our holding it. Email info@marinedeep.com and we will deal with it.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
